Let's Go Fly a Kite

I have to admit, that so far Spring in Connecticut is absolutely gorgeous. Well, when it's not raining! Yesterday was another one of those almost-perfect days outside. Sunny, clear skies, mild temperatures, but there was quite a bit of wind. Matthew has only been working part time this week with no classes, so he comes home fairly early. Yesterday he had a great idea on the way home from work to stop by the store and pick up a kite for Elijah. We all got in the car and headed to a local beach, Silver Sands, where we've been once before.

Turns out this was a great idea, can you see the kite in the top left-hand corner?

We were out there for over an hour, we all had so much fun. Sadly, there are no pictures of me flying the kite (too bad because I was really good at it!) but that's okay, I'm not a big fan of having my picture taken now that I'm a million months pregnant!
