A few weeks ago Elijah got some new shoes from Nana and Papa. (Buzz Lightyear, lighting-up shoes, as he calls them.) The next morning he had to put them on the second he got out of bed. In fact, I woke up to him stomping around the kitchen just to get them to light up.
