First Day of School

Yesterday was our first day of second grade here at the Hopper household. It was definitely a full and busy day, but for the most part went off without a hitch. This fall we're making the transition to a full school day, as opposed to just school in the mornings, so it's a bit of an adjustment for everyone. As usual my biggest challenge was not teaching Elijah, but keeping Sophia occupied and out of his hair. Hopefully that will get easier as the year progresses and she becomes more independent, but I'm not really holding my breath on  that one!
