New Batman cartoon

Hey everyone. In case you haven't heard, Cartoon Network is putting together a new Batman cartoon for this coming fall lineup. It will be called Batman: The Brave and the Bold. It will feature Batman working with other DC heroes, like Aquaman. I'm happy about this upcoming cartoon because it will be great for Elijah because it is made specifically for little kids. You can see the deliberate 'throw-back' intentions of the creators and animators in this clip below. (BYW, the show will premiere on Friday, November 14th.) Also, you can read some really cool parts of an interview with the show's creators at a special panel last week at ComicCon here. The article is titled 'New Batman: Fun Should Be a Tool in Batman's Utility Belt.' They basically explain how so much of the Batman artistry since the 1980's has been directed mostly at adults and been pretty dark in tone, but that these creators wanted to revisit the older, Adam-West-style. When you see this clip, you'll probably think the same thing I did: The only thing missing is the occasional "BANG!" or "POP!" written across the screen to go with that old-style music. :)
