Because it was on so late, Sophia didn't get to watch the game, Elijah stayed up for about an hour of it.
Sophia in her cheerleader outfit. Believe it or not, this is the same one she wore last year (size 6-9 month). Although I'm not sure how much longer she'll be able to wriggle into it!
Watching one of the earlier games together.
Sophia had to take a reading break. Like her big brother, she loves books!
Showing off her cheerleader tricks!
Flying!
Sunday we continued our big football weekend by heading out for Elijah's first away game. We drove about twenty minutes away to watch the West Haven Seahawks blue and green teams take on the Seymour Tigers! They actually played two games this morning, lasting a total of two hours. Everyone was really worn out when it was over with. Especially the mommies and daddies who had to chase around a busy one-year-old the whole time!
Action shot!
Watching from the sidelines.
Elijah doesn't usually play defense, so when he came to sit on the sidelines Sophia had to go and keep him company.
Playing center again.
Go Elijah! Actually I found out from the coaches' wife today that they've given Elijah a nick-name already, "Big E". Hilarious!
Going home!

Love your blog!! Such good pictures and good updating. Elijah's football pictures are great. Looks like he is really enjoying the whole experience. Sophia is our 'adorable' cheerleader. One of the cutest we've ever seen. Love Matthew making her fly. Fun times. Love ya'll,
Nana
