Football, Football and More Football!

Can you guess how we spent our weekend? For one thing everyone was super excited for the official start of the college football season. To make things even more exciting we were actually going to get to watch the Georgia game on TV. For some reason they don't broadcast many Georgia games up here in Connecticut, ha ha! Anyway, we had a lot planned for the day, including lots of good football food (chicken wings anyone?) and dressing up in our Georgia gear. Okay mostly Sophia and I were excited for the dressing up part, but Elijah does love his jersey!

Because it was on so late, Sophia didn't get to watch the game, Elijah stayed up for about an hour of it.

Sunday we continued our big football weekend by heading out for Elijah's first away game. We drove about twenty minutes away to watch the West Haven Seahawks blue and green teams take on the Seymour Tigers! They actually played two games this morning, lasting a total of two hours. Everyone was really worn out when it was over with. Especially the mommies and daddies who had to chase around a busy one-year-old the whole time!
