Well, onto the pictures. First off, we headed to one of favorite places nearby...New York City!
Aunt Amy and the kids at FAO Schwarz. Sophia completely fell in love with a teddy bear here, which Nana and Papa were happy to make sure she could keep!
We had to stop for a little candy at FAO...
You know, one pound Reese's cups...
And a little Tootsie Pop. Just a LITTLE candy!
We always have to make a stop by the giant piano. This one never gets old!
Amy and I (unintentionally) matched each other and the piano....and the little girl on the right. Stripes must be in this year!
All together now!
We had a lot of fun in New York. My favorite part of the trip was stopping for a late lunch at Carmine's. It was soooo yummy. I would go back in a heartbeat!
This was taken Friday night, both the kids were so happy to see their Papa!
Nana and SoSo. Yes, she's wearing kitty cat ears. Guess what she's going as for Halloween?
Elijah reading a book to everyone at breakfast. They were all listening intently!
Sunday we had lots of fun plans. Including Elijah football game a trip to the Pumpkin Patch. Everyone enjoyed watching Elijah play and then going to the orchard for kettle corn and apple cider.
Sophia in her cute new Halloween outfit at Elijah's game.
The girls, they were all coordinated nicely!
At Bishop's Orchard after Elijah's game. It looks fall-ish out, but it sure didn't feel that way, we were all roasting!
She loved the pumpkins!
Another family photo op.
Me and my babies!
Sophia and the giant pumpkin!
We had a great visit! We always have fun when we have family in town, and this trip was no different!

We cannot thank you enough for a WONDERFUL weekend!!!! We had such a good time. It was so good being with all of you. Thinking about this time last week we were just getting there; wish it was happening all over again. Loved seeing Elijah play football, and listening to him read. Sophia was precious as always. Thank you for taking us to NYC and to the pumpkin patch. Two of my favorite memories!!!! And, Cacey, you were so sweet and hospitable to us... and the meals were delicious. We love you little family!!!!
