Christmas Cuties

I still haven't posted a picture of our finished tree, in all it's glory, so here it is! We really need a bigger one for the space we have now, especially since we have such high ceilings. But somehow I can't think about replacing this little tree! Silly, I know. When I was a kid the star on our tree was cardboard and tinfoil, sometimes the simple things are the best things.

If you look carefully you might notice all the candy canes are hung on the top half of the tree. We learned our lesson on that one! Sophia was taking all of them off the tree and taking bites out of them!

I made the kids pose by the tree, of course! If you look at the first pic of the tree, you might notice the kids' nativity all set up nicely, courtesy of Elijah. In the pic below you might notice that it's all knocked over, courtesy of Sophia!

This is always a tricky shot, Elijah is always happy to give his little sister a squeeze, Sophia is usually reluctant to receive it!




And the obligatory school picture. Don't let her fool you, Sophia is rarely this cooperative while we're trying to work.
