Talking in his sleep

Sometimes if I happen to be awake in the middle of the night I get up to go check on Elijah. Some nights he will mumble something intelligible in his sleep and roll over. Last night happened to be one of those nights. I was just putting his blanket back over him when he rolled over, still asleep and said quite clearly, "Cookies...go get 'em." Crazy kid.



He's been mastering some long sentences lately, so far his record is four words. Yesterday he was casually browsing the movie shelf when he settled on "Herbie, the Love Bug". He pulled it out and said, "Umm how 'bout dis moobie?" Sorry, I have to type it just like he says it, other wise it looses it's effect. I guess that's five words if you count the um.



I have to include this pic of him I took this morning. This was right before he insisted on "cheese!" for breakfast. He's so proud of himself in his undies. He wore them almost all day yesterday, except during nap time, when we went out for an hour and bedtime, and he didn't have any accidents!
