Christsmas 2010 marks the seventh Christmas Matthew and I have spent together, Elijah's fifth Christmas, and of course, Sophia's very first Christmas of all! It was also our second Christmas up here in Connecticut, and unlike last year it wasn't a white Christmas. (Although it's a blizzard outside right now, it was just 48 hours too late.) There is so much I could and probably should say about how wonderful this Christmas was. How blessed we were to receive so many wonderful gifts from our families and how we enjoyed spending time with one another. But, I have so many pictures, I'm just going to let them speak for me!
Christmas Eve we let the kids open two presents each, which they were more than happy to do!

| Wearing her "my first Christmas" pjs that were mine. |
| Matthew opened one too! |
| Sophia got a cute baby doll. |

| Daddy reading the book that Elijah got to the kids. |
After the kids went to bed Matthew and I set to work putting out all the presents we had been stowing away in our front hall for the past month. It was a lot of work, we even built a tent. Check out the pic of Matthew in it below...
Christmas morning, thanks to the youngest member of our household who was too excited to sleep (just kidding, she was hungry) I woke up around six a.m. Even though Sophia fell back asleep in our bed I was too excited to go back to sleep. About an hour later, Elijah made his appearance in our bedroom, stocking in hand, ready to tear into some presents. I had to beg him to pose for a picture with his sister before he dug for goodies in his stocking. Elijah got Hot Wheels and Star Wars puzzles, while Sophia got new pacis, puffs and some stacking bath cups that she loved!

| Not a morning person, this girl. |
| Matthew from Christmas Eve, proud of his tent making skills. |

| Groggy babies. |
| Sophia wanted to get started on these puffs. |

| We dug in right away. |

| A very promsing package...shoes! |

| A book! Well...he was excited. |
| Opening his "big" present from Mommy and Daddy...wait for it... |
| Whoa, that's a lot of Star Wars action figures! He was very excited, so was Sophia apparently, who went straight for a Nemoidien. |
| She was getting tired of opening all her presents and decided to roll around under the tree with her bear for awhile. |
| Will this look cute on me? |
| Someone was sleepy! |
| They love the cool Star Wars tent Mimi and Papa got them. Well, it was Elijah's, but Sophia loved it too. |
| Sophia and her ball popper, oh goodness, this one was a huge hit with both kids as well. |

| Keeping with the theme, Elijah got a Star Wars T-shirt. |
| He looks happy, doesn't he? Maybe the kids were finally napping. |
| On the Green for a little football. It was surprisingly not cold out yesterday. |

| Down, set..hike! |
