Little Miss Mess

That's one of Sophia's many nick-names. Others are: Sophie So, Sophia Maria, SoSo (my favorite), Missy Moo...what is it with second-borns, they get more nicknames? Anyway, Miss Mess is pretty fitting these days. You should see this girl eat! She gets it everywhere! She's not just making messes when she's eating either, she's making messes everywhere else she can. When she's in her crib awake she pulls up, reaches over to the top of her little dresser and pulls everything she can get her hands on into the crib. Diapers, hairbows, you name it! I noticed just the other day that she has completely lost interest in playing with any toys. She's now in full-on exploring mode all the time. One of her favorite places to explore, unfortunately, is the kitchen. And since we don't have any cabinets to get into she usually goes straight to the microwave stand where we keep a bunch of stuff. Usually she just gets into the stash of baby food that she doesn't eat anymore. But just the other day she found more exciting things to play with. Coffee filters? Yeah, I guess that looks like fun. Definitely fun! Big brothers are good when you have bad hair days! (He was trying to make her hair lie flat) French toast anyone? Looking for a good book to read! At least she cleans up nice for church!
