Lately our Spring weather hasn't been the greatest, it's mostly been rainy out. Also our schedule has been a little jam-packed between school wrapping up (two more weeks!), baseball games and I've been super-busy getting ready to self publish my novel (also in two weeks!). So the kids haven't been spending as much time outdoors as I would like. Although last Saturday was lovely. Elijah and I went on a really long walk/bike ride. (I walked, he rode his bike.) And when we came home the three of us when to a friend's birthday party.

Yesterday was the first day of the week we actually had a chance to go out. Sophia had her two-year hip check-up with the orthopedist (she's still fine!). After that we had to go to the school to pick Matthew up from work. We went a little early so the kids could play on the playground for a half-hour or so. And yes I took my camera for once! Now I know why people take so many pics on their cellphones, because it's annoying to lug around a camera all of the time. Sadly, our phone does not take good pictures, but my camera does!

After Matthew got off work we hurried home for a quick dinner and then headed straight to Elijah's baseball game. It was honestly the best game they've played yet! All the boys were hitting well and the other team was good too! Elijah got three hits after three at-bats and scored two runs! He did get out once when the runner beat him to first, but he made up for it next time! He did so good we had to take him out for a little treat afterwards...ice cream!

Yum!

Of course Sophia had to have some too!
