Sophia's Second Birthday!

Wow, eleven days between birthdays is not quite enough! Too much decorating, wrapping presents and eating cake for my taste, but what can you do?

Anyway, yesterday was Sophia's second birthday and it was a blast! We had already decided a few weeks ago to throw her a pirate party. You may or may not remember that Elijah's first birthday was a pirate party, so I guess it's becoming quite the tradition. We wanted to have a theme that she would like, but it's hard to ask a two year old what kind of party they want. Well, she let us know. When we were at the party store buying stuff for Elijah's birthday she saw the pirate party stuff and went ballistic, "PIRATE, PIRATE!". So that's how it was decided.

Oh yeah, and we all donned our pirate gear for the occasion.

But why is the rum gone? Because the party's over!

A few more minutes with the dollhouse before bed. After this she threw a mini-meltdown because she did not want to go to bed!
