The Force Is Strong with This One

Elijah lately, in his words, is "waaay into" Star Wars. He's had a few Star Wars toys and coloring books for a long time, but suddenly he really loves it. He had a $5 Toys-R-Us gift card that we used a week ago to get a C-3PO action figure. Since then he's been learning the ways of the Force non-stop.

This is his new C-3PO.

We can't tell yet whether he'll have what it takes to become a Jedi. Some days--like when he doesn't sleep at naptime--he's no match for the power of the Dark Side.

Between Cacey and myself, the Force runs strong in our family. His parents have it. He has it. And his sister has it. If he won't turn to the dark side, then perhaps she will... (Cue Luke's voice: "Nooooo!")
