The Force is Strong With This One (Part Two)

We've already mentioned on here just how much Elijah loves Star Wars, and how that's completely expected since Matthew and I both grew up loving it too. Well, his love of Star Wars has grown even more lately. Remember all the action figures he got for Christmas? At least once a day he sets them all up for a battle. Also, he got a Wii game system from Nana and Papa for Christmas, so he used a gift card from Uncle Aaron to buy a Star Wars lightsaber duels game. He asks me to play it with him all the time. It's really fun though! Just the other day at Target Matthew and I finally finally caved in and let him get a toy lightsaber. We were originally hesitant because we didn't really want him going around the house swinging it and whacking everything in sight. But he's been well behaved with it.

Once his favorite things to do is show off the lightsaber moves he's learned from the Wii game. In fact his favorite is the "Force blast" motion you do with the palm of your hand toward your opponent. His favorite opponent is, of course, his little sister. He's often seen "Force blasting" her all of the time.

The other day Sophia got wise to this, and decided to give him a taste of his own medicine.
You all remember, I'm sure that he was Darth Vader for Halloween. Now that he has a green lightsaber he's been insisting on dressing up like Luke Skywalker. Of course, he doesn't have a Luke Skywalker costume, so Daddy helped him put together this little costume. (He's Luke from Return of the Jedi.)
Of course, you know he's not the only one who shows signs of being a huge Star Wars fan someday!

CUTE!!! JTC and AJC have those lightsabers, and they are too cool.

Please tell me you've shown Elijah the Darth Vader commercial from the Super Bowl? YouTube it.
