Needless to say, here at the Hopper household, we are all very excited about the release of the highly anticipated sequel to Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean. "Dead Man's Chest" has already been setting records. It brought in 132 MILLION dollars in its opening weekend, crushing the former no. 1, "Spiderman," which peaked at 114 million in its opening weekend a few years ago.
By the way, for all you fans, Best Buy is currently offering the soundtrack on special sale for 9 dollars and change, and if you buy it from Best Buy, it comes with 2 additional "Best Buy Exclusive" bonus tracks. And I can vouch--it's fantastic.
It's in the spirit of the movie that we dressed up our little pirate. Isn't it uncanny?
